Going old school in the laundry room

Giving homemade laundry soap a try. Borox, fels, and washing powder. I'll let you know how well it works!

    I saw a how to thing on tip junkie that was like this...how did it work out?

    I haven't had any problems with it yet. no fading and everything smells clean. And the batch I made has lasted for quite a while now. I've been using vinegar in a downy ball for softner and a small ball of tin foil in the dryer for anti-static. Beats the prices of the grocery stores :-)
